Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association

Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association is a wholesale electric power supplier owned by the 44 electric cooperatives it serves. Tri-State generates and transports electricity to Continental Divide Electric Co-op and the rest of its member systems throughout a 250,000 square-mile service territory that covers Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico and Wyoming.  Basin Electric Power Cooperative 

Basin Electric Power Cooperative is a consumer-owned, regional cooperative headquartered in Bismarck, N.D. It operates electricity-generating plants for 130-plus member systems in nine states. Tri-State's Class A membership in the wholesale power supplier enabled Continental Divide Electric to become a Class C member of Basin Electric in March 2008. New Mexico Rural Electric Cooperative Association represents our state's electric cooperatives and their local consumers.
