RENEWABLE RESOURCE RATE

Available to all consumers within the utility's service area.

Continental Divide Electric offers "green power" through our power supplier Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association. The program is voluntary and consists of a one (1) year contract to purchase renewable resources in 100 kilowatt-hour blocks at a market-based rate.

The cost is "at a premium," meaning in addition to what CDEC charges the consumer monthly for coal-fired electricity.
